Korsør

Korsør is a pleasant old maritime provincial town attractively situated on the Great Belt coast.

This pleasant town and the many activities the area offers make it a favourite holiday destination.

The water and the harbour are very important for Korsør. the town was a ferry station for crossings to Funen, until the Great Belt Bridge was opened to traffic in 1998

The waterside town is a haven for activities such as rowing, scuba diving, windsurfing, angling, sailing and the annual Maritime Culture Week

In recent years, a considerable number of active artists and art workers have established themselves in Korsør, including several professionals.

The lovely location of Korsør down by the sea, along with the clarity of the light, may well have been a contributing factor to their having chosen precisely Korsør, as a number of the artists feature both the sea and the light in their art.
Korsør is a good base for a family holiday when you’re looking for enjoyable, exciting and entertaining children’s activities.
