”Map”provides a traditional map with street numbers, street names, and city names.
“Satelite” provides an aerial view of the area.
“Hybrid” provides an aerial view with street numbers, street names, and city names.
You zoom in on the map either by clicking the + sign or by pulling the slide bar towards +. Similarly, you zoom out on the map by clicking the – (minus) sign, or by pulling the slide bar towards minus.
It is also possible to zoom the map by placing the cursor on the map and moving the cursor wheel to and fro.
You pan the map by clicking the arrows in the top left corner of the map, or by keeping the left mouse key down and pulling the map in the wanted direction.
Please note that there is a limit as to how many product icons can be shown on the map at one time. If the result of your search exceedes this limit, you are automatically warned to zoom in. Not until this warning stops, you can be sure to have all products shown on the map.
When you click the “Reset map” botton, you see the initial map again, and all of your previous markings will be deleted automatically.
This function enables you for instance to see all the camping sites in a certain are.
This is the way to do it:
• Click the heading “Accommodation”
• Check the box named “Camping sites”
• Click the “Show on map” botton and zoom in on your area of interest
• Click on the icon of the camping site of interest
• Click on the link “Read more”
You could also start by zooming in on your area of interest, and then choose your product type(s) of interest.
This function enables you to find an address by entering part of or all of the address. If your search has more results, they will all be shown on the map.
This function enables you to find sights, places of accommodation, etc. in Denmark by entering the name of the place, e.i. “Tivoli”, “The little Mermaid”, or “Hotel Selandia”. If your search has more results, they will all be shown on the map.
If you click the “Route” botton you are redirected to the home page of Google Maps, where you can find directions of routes to addresses in all of the world.
